How I approach my work

Put growth over comfort
Talent is not something you are but something you can grow, individually and collectively. Ask what if and why not and focus on what is possible, relentlessly.
The conviction that by putting growth over comfort for self and others, it makes a difference in helping others to achieve their potential.

Do the hard work
Do the hard work with (HR) leaders to think divergently about people and organisations.
In doing so, accompany leaders and their teams in the challenging moments and high stake situations so so they can unlock their collective strengths and make use of their diversity in the best possible way.

Craft conditions to enable change
Craft a fertile (play)ground for candid and empathetic conversations to take place. In doing so, ensure teams develop a clearer sense of direction and accountability throughout their change journey.
It’s also about giving the keys for change away, becoming less and less present in the change process so others can take over. Only when this happens do we have a better chance for the change to be sustainable.
I

Remain critically curious
Developing a practice of curiosity, which I define as a relentless pursuit to discover how the world works from various perspectives is essential to me.
It allows me not to take things for granted or become dogmatic about what I know. Because the more I learn, the more I realize how much I still need to learn.
I seek to transmit those perspectives when working, leading, or facilitating. Remaining critically curious is about keeping a healthy balance between certainty and uncertainty, knowing and admitting we don't know. Ultimately opening our minds to new perspectives is required for growth and change.
